XAOIN's group-purchasing model provides for two distinct roles: MAILOGA organises and negotiates; the identified seller sells the product. Each campaign must clearly explain how those roles work in practice.
MAILOGA's service
The intended service is to assess proposals, bring together demand, request and compare offers, and communicate the results. Its scope, duration and any remuneration must be known before contracting. There is no guarantee that a campaign will obtain an offer or a particular saving.
The product purchase
Under this model, each buyer would contract directly with the identified seller. That seller would collect and invoice the product price and handle its applicable obligations for delivery, conformity, warranties and returns.
Before an offer is accepted, the seller's identity and contact details, the exact product, the total price and purchase terms must be shown. A generic reference to a supplier does not replace this information.
Responsibility for each activity
Separating the roles does not remove MAILOGA's own obligations concerning its service, information and any funds it handles, or limit the buyer's legal rights. Nor does a campaign or registration guarantee that the seller will fulfil its obligations.
No implied authority
Viewing a listing, preparing a proposal or creating an account does not authorise MAILOGA to buy on your behalf, accept a different product or arrange financing. Any commitment requires a process and terms explaining its scope.
